Dear Parents/Guardians:
As you are aware, the York Catholic District School Board received funding from the Ministry of Education for a multi-use school in the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville that will consist of a secondary school, an elementary school and child care centre. This new facility will assist in alleviating enrollment pressures at the existing Catholic elementary schools. A site has been identified for this facility and our current target is an opening for the 2020-2021 school year.
A Public Meeting for the new Elementary and Secondary Catholic School in Stouffville has been set. All families are welcome to attend.
Public Meeting
When: Thursday, April 12, 2018
Time: 7:00 p.m.
Location: St. Brendan Catholic Elementary School, 751 Hoover Park Drive, Stouffville.
The Public Meeting will include an overview about the future school, as well as a presentation on the Board’s Grade 7 to 12 model. Families will also have an opportunity to review the proposed school names for the elementary and secondary schools and provide input.
