Rowan’s Law Day~ Wear Rowan’s favourite colour PURPLE on Thursday, October 1st

Rowan’s Law Day (#RowansLawDay) During the week of September 28 to October 2, 2020, schools across Ontario are expected to recognize this law by educating and engaging students, staff, and parents/guardians in activities that increase awareness about concussions and to share Rowan Stringer’s story. We will be wearing PURPLE on Thursday, October 1st to recognize this law with Rowan’s favourite colour.

ORANGE SHIRT DAY- Every Child Matters~ held on Wednesday, September 30th

What is Orange Shirt Day? In the spring of 2013, a commemoration event was held in Williams Lake, BC to honour those who attended the St. Joseph Mission (SJM) residential school. 40th Anniversary of the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope~

This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Terry Fox Marathon of Hope and we would like to celebrate this at St. Brigid. Sometime during the week of Sept. 28 – Oct. 2, 2020, each class will individually walk or run for Terry Fox. September 2020 Update

Dear St. Brigid Families,
